How To Get The Of Retribution Affix in Diablo 4
The “Of Retribution” is a Legendary affix that has a chance to be found randomly on Legendary quality items in Diablo 4. Affixes on Legendary items have a shared loot table; any Legendary item has a chance to roll any of the Legendary affixes. Unique Items are the exception, they will always have a specific affix
“Of Retribution” unfortunately cannot be unlocked by completing a challenge in the Codex of Power. The only way to obtain it is as a random drop.
Class Restriction
There are no class restrictions for this affix. Many affixes are class-specific, however this one can be obtained and imprinted on gear by all classes.Codex & Where To Extract Legendary Affixes
Diablo 4 will randomly generate the effectiveness within the range specified. The legendary item that drops will likely roll either the minimum or the maximum of any ranges given in the Of Retribution affix tooltip.
It is important to note that if you use the Codex Aspect Of Retribution rather than obtain this affix from a random legendary, you will automatically get only the minimum of any specific ranges in the tooltip. When a legendary is randomly dropped, it will have a chance to roll somewhere between the min and max range. This is why it is always more beneficial to obtain a legendary item with the affix on it already, and transfer that affix to another item at the Occultist NPC using the Extract Aspect feature tab.
