How To Get The Rotting Affix in Diablo 4
The “Rotting” is a Legendary affix that has a chance to be found randomly on Legendary quality items in Diablo 4. Affixes on Legendary items have a shared loot table; any Legendary item has a chance to roll any of the Legendary affixes. Unique Items are the exception, they will always have a specific affix
“Rotting” can be unlocked in the Codex of Power by completing a specific challenge to grant access to changing a Legendary item’s affix.
Class Restriction
The Rotting affix can only be used by the Necromancer class.
Codex & Where To Extract Legendary Affixes
Diablo 4 will randomly generate the effectiveness within the range specified. The legendary item that drops will likely roll either the minimum or the maximum of any ranges given in the Rotting affix tooltip.
