What Rock Salt Is Used For in Tears of the Kingdom
[Rock Salt] is a Material in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). Specifically, it is classified as a Ore.
The first Rock Salt you add to a meal when cooking adds 1 minute to the effect that the meal gives. If you add more than 1 Rock Salt to a meal, the remainder will only add 30 seconds each to the duration of the effect.
The Rock Salt can be turned in to trade for Peach dye in order to dye clothes. We have not yet confirmed if this is still the case in Tears of the Kingdom.
